Improving the length of time a carpet can last, meaning new underlay not necessarily thick can make a carpet last many years as to not having underlay. The benefits of having underlay enhances the lifespan of a carpet and the difference between a carpet lasting 2 years to 15 years.
The new eco friendly underlay is what we like to use, as it is more cost effective and better for your environment, meaning it will not disintegrate underneath your carpet!! Underlays vary in quality and various ones we like to use are cushy 8 and 10mm as well as magic 8 and 10, diplomat, Charleston, Cosi, Cirrus to name but a few!!
Rubber underlay can still be used if one wants too as well, as well as felt but felt underlay is usually used on commercial areas etc recommended if to use.
A range of door bars are also available from your carpet to carpet, carpet to vinyl, carpet to wood / tiles etc. Aluminium or sim-brass but stair nosing is another form of safety that customers sometimes like to use on commercial stairs, landings etc. that can be metal or rubber in finish.
